Venice

As an artist, I had the incredible opportunity to exhibit at CONTEMPORARY VENICE during the 60th Venice Biennale of Art in 2024. The exhibition took place at the historic Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello, a stunning Renaissance palace dating back to the 16th century.

The experience of exhibiting in such a prestigious location was truly inspiring. Palazzo Albrizzi-Capello's beautiful private garden and created a unique atmosphere where past and present seamlessly intertwined.

This provided me such inspiration for new pieces. Especially the Leonardo De Vinci science exhibition. His inventions were on display, and I was blown away! I never knew that his mechanical devices were so ahead of his time and influences us to this day! Leonardo De Vinci was a fabulous artist but also an amazing scientist. Making him the first true Renaissance Man, brining both worlds together - the Arts and the Scientific fields.

Venice is my happy place... All my senses are simulated. The beautiful masks on display. The richness of all the fabric and textures. The food, the drink and just everything about Venice motivated me to create my new abstract collection.
